If you’re feeling abundantly thankful this Thanksgiving, take your inspiration from the the pomegranate—a symbol of abundance. A brush of gold paint and a decorative bowl makes them a holiday-ready centerpiece with a few flowers and other fruits in darker tones. (Other options? Building a burnt orange table around butternut squash, or a green table around the acorn variety.)

- Heavy paper (gold shown here)
- Regular paper for tracing with
- Scissors
- Colorful, hard-rind fruit (in this case, pomegranates)
- Metallic paint
