Make little mermaids and mermen feel extra special with a kids’ table setup that reminds them dinner tastes better down where it’s wetter, under the sea.
What You’ll Need:
- 12 x 12 paper (blue scrapbook paper shown here)
- Clear 12×12 sleeve
- Assorted theme confetti (blue tissue circles, gold metallic, fish-shaped confetti shown here)
- Kids’ Table Sea Shapes Template
- Sea Straws
- Scissors
- Tape
- Mini Cupcakes
- Toothpicks
- Other snacks (e.g. cherries, crackers, beach-themed candy)
- Small Bowls
- Foil-wrapped candy
How To:
Step 1 Print one copy of Kids’ Table Sea Shapes Template for each child, plus a few extras then cut out the shapes.
Step 2 Slide the scrapbook paper into plastic sleeves.
Step 3 Fill each sleeve with confetti and the Kids’ Table Sea Shapes.
Step 4 Seal sleeves with tape to create placemats, and shake up each one.
Step 5 Set a placemat at each place. Then, to complete the setting, scatter foil-wrapped seashell chocolates, Swedish fish, and more confetti all over the table.
Step 6 Set out small containers with goldfish crackers and cherries.
Step 7 Tape extra Kids’ Table Sea Shapes to toothpicks to create mini-cupcake toppers, and write guests’ names on some as placecards.
