Who needs black tie when you have cacti? When you’re ready to fiesta, these paper cacti are a quick and easy craft that sticks out in a crowd. Just trace, cut, and tape, and you’ll have prickly pears and Saguaros everywhere. Arrange them as a centerpiece, string together as a garland, or use them as table numbers. To get your cacti flickering instead of prickling, put a votive candle inside the clear cylinder. Olé, olé!
What You’ll Need:
- Cactus Template
- Pencil
- Green paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Double-sided tape
- Clear cylinders
How to:
Step 1: Download and print Cactus Template and cut out. Use to trace cactus shapes onto green paper, then cut out. Note: Templates fit on a standard 8.5”x11” sheet. For larger cacti, use the templates as inspiration and draw freehand.
Step 2: Stick cacti lengthwise to clear cylinders using one long strip of double-sided tape. Place a votive candle in the bottom, or fill the cylinder with anything you like.
