Cupcakes cupid himself would “love”! These arrows can go in any treat, fruit or snack.
Arrow Toothpicks
What You’ll Need:
- Arrow template
- Cardstock or construction paper (pink shown here)
- Toothpicks (two per arrow)
- Glue
- Scissors
Step 1 Cut out three 1×1” squares of paper
Step 2 Cut one paper square diagonally in half, so you end up with two triangles–your arrowhead!
Step 3 Fold the two remaining squares in half to form a rectangle. Snip the short edges at parallel angles so the shape you end up with is a parallelogram when folded
Step 4 Snip small slips into the folded edge of your parallelogram to make the arrow fringe. Unfold.
Step 5 Glue the end of one toothpick between the two small triangles. Glue the other toothpick between the two tail pieces. Allow to dry. Stick the toothpicks in either side of each cupcake (or banana, or strawberry, or croissant or soft cookie..)
Cloud Cake Stand
What You’ll Need:
- Cloud Template
- Cardstock or construction paper (white shown here)
- Scissors
- Double-sided tape
- Cake stand
Step 1 Print out Cloud Template. Cut out cloud and trace onto paper. Cut out clouds.
Step 2 Using double-sided tape, tape around cake stand to make the “sky” your Cupid Cupcakes are served on!
Sprinkle extras on table or use as placecards, tags or other party decor !
